There are about 2 dozen acronyms of RPD. Which RPD do you refer to?

Never mind, lol i checked Wiki, its specs says it does but its slightly flawed with slow-downs and so forth.

As for the Interface you were right, fully custimizeable, but think i'll just stick with Opera (As my main) + IE 8 (IE 8 only for the RPD Support)

Thanks for the info though. :P

Remote Desktop Protocol is developed within Windows so it's logical that IE will operate through it while others won't or will very poorly.

There are other remote desktop clients you can use that support all browsers.

With security being a huge issue with Internet Explorer, I'd be looking for a RDP replacement ASAP.

IE9 for me. Pages from the future FTW!

Opera>FireFox>Explorer

Can you hook us up with some of that future IE?

In therms of speed, we did a little experiment in one of my programming class.

Heres what we found in therms of speed(when we open them from a cold start):
1. Chrome
2. Opera
3. Safari
4. Internet Explorer
5. Firefox

I know everyone likes Firefox more then Internet Explorer but IE is faster to open. Firefox's security owns IE totally so you should stick with Firefox.

I prefer Opera, because it follows the browser standards for a much longer time, and the best exemple is the Acid Test 2 and Opera offers more without the use of widgets that can use if you want. Firefox and IE can do it correctly only since their last version. Safari didnt have any problem regarding that test too, so does Chrome.

Acid 3 is the current test, not Acid 2.

Well! Thank you for the link, I didn't know that it existed yet.

So, I tested all 6 browser(IE7, IE8, Opera, Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
Each browser had the lastest build it can offer.

Heres the results:

1. Opera (85/100)
2. Chrome (78/100)
3. Safari (74/100)
4. Firefox 3 (70/100)
5. Internet Explorer 8 (21/100)
6. Internet Explorer 7 (5/100)

No ones past the test.

IE7&8 was actually a big load of fail on the Acid Test 3. Opera had the best results.

It's odd because the 9.6 BETA scored an 86, whereas the final dropped down to 95. However, Peregrine will score 100 on the Acid3, apparantly. (I think it may already do so).

In fact, if you go to the Opera Labs site, you can download a dev build of Opera which already scores 100/100
