@xen, awsum so is it pretty quick opening up pages and download vids / trailers?

It's usually very quick, unless your trailer is in HD - those need extra speed... like 3mbps. But they don't take more than 5-7 mins to download in full. Online is great, I barely have lag. Pages load up quick. Even quicker if you're using the Opera browser.

It's the one I have (except that mine is half the UL speed). It's fine for most things, unless your ISP filters your transmissions or caps your bandwith, it'll work fine. The max download speed you can achieve is 180KB/s, if you can live with that, it's a good connection

Compared to my 45 kb per second dial up that's great.

Good for gaming, bad for downloading huge files. How much r u paying 4 it? of $30 or more, u might be getting ripped off. Comcast has 12/2 for $45.95 and that's a huge difference.

365Kbps/65kbps and I bearly have lag issues or anything of the sort without bittorrent downloading or something.

KB = Kilobyte

8 bits = 1 byte

So 1.3 Mb/s equals 1.3 million bits/ 1024 = 1269 kilobits / 8 = 160 KB/s

1000/1024 bytes = 1 KB So 160 KB/s roughly translates to about 1.3 Mb/s

Confusing, to say the least.

I'm useless here. I regularly get 1.5 megabyte/second downloads. =B
