With Sonic Unleashed and Sonic and the black knight coming will they turn out to be like Sonic the Hedgehog(ps3,360) or will they improve quality and sales wise. I remenber back at the beginning of the year that people thought that Sonic DS would revive the sonic franchise and now it turns out to be a dissapointment.

Sonic games will improve when they're taken out of the hands of Sonic Team. I'm not sure what magic bullet will make them "great" again, though.

The Secret Rings was reasonably enjoyable. However, Sega chose the wrong control scheme for that game! I'm sure Sonic Unleashed should at least feature a controllable Sonic.
