10 million easily. look how much prologue sold (with its small userbase), and no one was really into that game. it will come out when ps3 has a much larger userbase than right now.

I find it interesting that GT5:p has sold more than GT4:p (2.23 million vs. 1.36 million)
it could be an indicator of very good sales for GT5
Then again, what was the time frame between the release of GT4:p and GT4? it was probably less than the time is going to be between GT5:p and GT5 giving GT5:p more of an opertunity to grow legs.

GT3 did about 14 millions on a smaller userbase right but also on the most popular console of its time. So the userbase increased very quickly as GT3 sales.

Now PS3 is a far different story. It's the less popular console of its time. Plus GT5 have solid competition this gen in the name of Motorstorm. Also no game on PS3 is close to 10 millions even GTAIV which is considered by many as 'the game of the gen'.

conclusion : GT5 will do around 4 millions LTD Worldwide.

 

same could be said about halo 3.

 

4 million in less than the first month... this games have at least a 2 years legs.

holy shit they bundled GT3 in with Ps3's? I wonder why the system isnt flying off the shelf with that.
