If you aren't amused by a gun that can let you tag someone, take cover, spray like your life depended on it, and watch all of your bullets wrap around whatever your hiding behind to seek in on whatever you tagged, then my friend there must be something we can do :3

Sure thats cool but the game is the problem :p,Im sure its fun as h3ck,but....Its just a medicore FPS,Now KZ2 is something amazing,maybe a TRUE Next gen material.

Lets go with the fact you do not think either game is special. That is fine. Yet the issue lies here. Why is it if fans of both games feel they are equally as good/bad. They are very similar in actual quality but for some reason reviewers keep rating R2 lower then G2. I mean, if you think they both are mediocre, don't you think they both deserve mediocre scores? This is simply not the case because G2 has formulated a higher average on sites like metacritic because of undeserving praise, or R2 is being stripped of the praise it actually deserves.

Side Note...

All those who think the story is just not so hot I beg to go play it again. The game has an awsome story. Reviewers keep ranting about Hale is emotionless and such, blah blah blah! He is....for a reason....he has been hardened by war. He shows some emotion every once in a while, he simply does not feel the need to say what he is feeling. Pay attention to his facial movements through the game. You can pretty much read his mind. And the reason they do not emphasize Hale too much is becuz it is more about the state of the world in general and not just what is effecting Hale. I mean listen to the guy on the radios that are scattered everywhere. He is very insightful on the pure terrifying atmosphere of the game, the feeling that you simply cannot win. Also alot of the backstory plot is revielled within the intel messages(kind of like the emails in Assassin's Creed). This is why many don't get the story.

Any review largely over or under the highest or lowest scores should be thrown out in a weighted average.

That said, R2 has a campaign that I could only describe as average. :P

Another terrible review source is Edge magazine, which should be averaged soon.

They gave:

Resistace 2: 6/10

Gears of War 2: 9/10

same issue.

Heres the twist,*IM NOT SAYING THIS* But some reviewers could find R2 just a medicore FPS,like black and Gears 2 a LITTLE more fun or a little less medicore,Now you cant give the 2 games the same exact score just because you dislike them..

 

You have to take in alot,now im not saying Gears is better than R2 because i have not played either,And dont forget the Reviewers,Unless both reviews review the same game(Gears & R2)Then you cant say there biased,because 2 different people play the games..

Did you just say GRAW is better than Gears of War?

That's like saying Heavenly Sword is better than God of War...

Or saying that Haze is better than Halo.

Resistance was one of the few shooters I've played where dying just makes me re-think of a different way I can beat the situation without chalking it up to a few missed shots, I'm not sure about you guys, but dying was actually fun to me in this, esp dying to some of the more intense moments, it was almost a blessing because you wanted to do that segment again so badly anyway :P Resistance is one hell of a game, and this review doesn't seem to want to participate in it ^^

And on a second note, this games co-op is addicting ;-; my roomate and I literally have trouble putting it down sometimes ;-;

Lets see,Unintresting story(Check),Same Game(check),Last gen linear levels(Check)..Yea there biased >_>

@Kantor -I said GRAW,because after you play GRAW,Gears isnt special anymore,Graw has the same covering system,that was the really only thing that made Gears special for alot of people,Gears 2 got a high review cause they liked the first and played the first one.
