Forums - Website Topics - Can we please take away the cancel option on quick replies?

It's really annoying me. There's no reason to why it is there. If I don't want to post it, I can refresh it, or just delete it all.

Or can we at least get a message "do you really want to cancel", because this is starting to bug me. I keep on deleting my comments before I post them, as I do for some reason have a feeling "post" should be on the right and cancel on the left (I blame SMG).

Or you could just watch where you click...

You're not alone--I've done that too XD

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Or someone else could fix it for me. I'm not really interesting in wasting ~ 0.05 seconds a post on this.

I understand that it is there on the rich text reply, but I don't see why it is there on the quick reply. It has no real function.

yeah, just pay attention on where you click. You should get used to clicking the post one, not the cancel one.

how do you mess up on hitting post? it clears says "Post"

maybe you should spend that extra 0.05 more seconds

It's actually fairly useful to me because it's a nice way to go to the previous page when your pointer is floating around the bottom of the screen.

He is three years old. I couldn't read at that age, could you?

Actually, I could read a little bit at that age. It was mostly 3-4 letter words of course, but I could do it. Post would be one I could read, and cancel is one I wouldn't be able to read. So he should just click on the link that he can read.
