Seriously though, I think my analogy is perhaps the worst possible flop that you can get, and Lair probably wont flop that bad... maybe :P

No. 10 reviews means nothing if there will be 50 good. If this game finish as anything below 8/10 iit will be game over. Bad reviews don't affect on Wii-gamers. PS3 audiency is different. People will know game sucks.

Be aware this is very expensive game - 200k is a mega flop, 500k is a flop, 1000k is a break even point in my book.

Anyway as BenKenobi88 pointed this is a bit too early to cross out this title. We have two reviews - one good and one bad. It's definitely not enough. Disturbing though.

Origin wanna make a bet that Lair won't flop even with these EGM reviews?

The way I see it, it will at least do Motorstorm numbers, if Sony advertises it and shows those dragons killing stuff on tv that's gonna get PS3 owners to buy, add that to the people who were already waiting for the game and you will have a good selling game.

It won't be a massive success, but it won't flop. It will beat Motorstorm sales.

If marketed well this game will be a PS3 hit.

Are those numbers worldwide or US only? Cause if it's US only they are way too high.

I'd like to point out that Resistance got some reviews as low as 6/10 yet it also had some great reviews, which averaged it out. For nearly every game, there are going to be people that dont like it

Worldwide. I assume $16 as a developers income. This game cost around $20 million so 1 million copies sold as a break even point sonds reasonable... or not?

I'll take the bet that I don't think Lair will reach 1 million yep.

there are some infos, but not enought spread on the net.
Lair is not enougth deep ..
