Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.
1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.

PS360 fans got TWO BRILLIANT GAMES this week (PS3 got LBP last week, 360 fans FABLE 2)
So yeah wii fans should be gloating as PS360 fans don't have time to do that.....
j/k on last part but I am just saying your statement is stupid as you mention PS360 got two GREAT games in a week.....

i guess but it has been like this since launch. How many times has 360 or ps3 even passed wii in NA for 1 week since wii was released. There's halo week, anything else? i think there was a week or 2 this year in january where there was no supply because they shipped wiis faster to get them in for christmas.

Oh puh-lease! Will you stop with this silly idea that the casuals are going to somehow stop developpers from creating hardcore games. The video game industry is growing compared to the previous generation, there's room for everyone from the evil casuals to the heavenly hardcore players.
