First week? Okay, then the PS3 has:

MGS4: Fastest selling stealth shooter
LBP: Fastest selling 2D platformer with a focus on level creation
Uncharted: Fastest selling platformer/third person shooter hybrid (Tomb Raider isn't out just yet)
MotorStorm: Fastest selling HD offroad racer
GT5 Prologue: Fastest selling racer demo

Now, how many of those actually count? You can't deny MGS4.

EDIT: Fastest selling strategy game would go to a PC game. Of course, we are probably only talking about consoles here, but RTS never does well on consoles. Sure, Halo Wars has the magic four letters, but if Rare made Halo-Kazooie, would people buy it?

Horror will go either to the PS3 or 360 version of RE5

Fastest Racer is going to Gran Turismo 5. No other racer can touch it. GT3 was the best selling PS2 exclusive.

Sure I am, that's what you learn most from, but which part is wrong? No game has beaten 2.5M, or that Fable 2 won't break it? I'd like to double-check me being wrong first

 Well the first Fable sold 2.6 million according to this site and it's difficult to believe the sequel won't outsell it. 2.5 million is almost certain, I wouldn't be surprised to see it head towards 4 million overall.

 I agree here. Forza and PGR will be outsold period by GT 5. I prefer the 360's ergonomic controller for racing games, but GT5 is awesome. Shitty controller for racing though.

I dont doubt GT5 will sell very very well for PS3. But considering the poor exclusive sales of PS3 games (compared to exclusive 360 games) I think GT5 will be the worst selling of the GT franchise.

 

I don't doubt what you're saying, but what they get will be worlds above what they are getting now. Thats my major point.
