LBP sold nearly 700k for its 1st week sales World wide, that is ok, but I hope R2 can pull 200-400k more in terms of sales.

Why?

Well I find LBP's sales somewhat dissapointing considering the game was expected to be huge by sony, its selling very well dont get me wrong, but not the numbers sony or I expected..

I just hope R2 can manage that 1 million 1st week sales number World wide.

Disappointing

NEW IP, platformer.....on PS3 (SW sales usually lower)

As for Resistance 2 beating it.....dunno

well it sold nearly 400k in NA day 1, so i'd say about 600k Week 1

I expect about 300k in EU Week one

and maybe like 30k JP Week one.

So that's 930k Week 1 WorldWide.

That's my prediction atleast.

Good part of LBP it should have some legs so it should sell well for a while

Yes Darth Im dissapointed, I dont give a $hit that its a new ip, Wii sports was also a new ip on a NINTENDO CONSOLE(I emphasize nintendo console because in 2005 nintendo was doing horrible), and guess what, its selling wiis.

especially the RESistance 2 will sell 5 Million.....there is no chance in hell of that happening

I wouldn't say that there's no chance but it is highly unlikely.

My expectations were that LBP would sell 1 million copies 1st week, also no my expectations are not hard to attain.

R1 sold 3.4million copies looking at vgchartz, and R2 a MUCH BETTER GAME, which has already obliterated R1's 1st week sales WORLD WIDE, and thats just saying its selling in NA.

5 million is possible, and im hoping it will sell 2.5 milllion by the end of the year.

Resistance 2 deserves GREAT sales....I don't want fanboys SLAGGING it off if it doesn't reach 5 Million just because Leo-J once again made an Over the top prediction that didn't come true.

2.5 - 3.0 Million is sensible for Resistance 2 to achieve....it surpasses that I will be overwhelmed.
