The dual shock is better than the sixaxis. I prefer the weight and I love rumble when it is done well. A good example is MGS4.
Thanks for the input, Jeff.

If i turn off the rumble he controler will stay more heavy anyway.
Final Fantasy huge... watch my collection
Oh... Final Fantasy huge only on SONY system !
I have not complained at all with the original SIXAXIS. I actually prefer using the SIXAXIS then getting the DS3. It's nice to have rumble but it doesn't ruin the gameplay for me. I do wish at times to own a DS3 for GT5: Prologue though. I would like to know when I'm in the dirt and would like rumble feedback.lol

then turn off the heavy, dumbass.
I liked the sixaxis, but i had one controller fuck up and kept disconnecting from games for some reason. So now I am bias against it. 50$ down the drain.

Wow, you can lift your own hands, right? Unless this thing weighs over a pound, I cannot possibly fathom how a gain in weight would be a bad thing.

The DualShock 3 is like 4x the weight of the Sixaxis. I actually liked the Sixaxis due to its low weight. The DS3 is probably heavier than a PS2 controller.
I know I'll have to make the switch someday. Probably someday soon.
The Dual Shock 3 feels more robust than the Sixaxis and I like that.
However, I don't really care that much for rumble. People rant and rave about how 'important' it is for games, but I haven't seen how it's that useful apart from something like a sports game (don't baseball games use rumble to quietly select pitching options?)
I'd rather not have my battery drained from overdone rumble. Thus, do as I do and simply turn off rumble.
Right now, I'm more annoyed by sticking buttons than whether or not a controller has rumble.
I don't get people who complain about the Dualshock's weight. Is it that much heavier? I know the SIXAXIS is made of helium, feathers, and hope, but C'mon!! Are we really that lazy?
