LBP's week 2 (or 1, if you want) are posted and it shows a 60K increase over Week 0
I think it's a fantastic result, and it shows that the launch was really troubled, but that the game will have very good sales. It should have no trouble clearing 1.5M-2M in Americas.
What do you think about it?

It's very good. Now that the game is ressuplied and has heavy advertisng, it'll break a million in NA very easily.
I'm happy I hope it keeps selling well.

It's just been on sky news about an hour ago. They were all excited about it. Nothing was siad about a delayed release.

They give mention about Stephen Fry in story mode. Excellent voice just right for the game. Reminds me of the old narrators of old TV cartoons like willow the wisp and Camberwick Green.

Damn. I keep forgetting. Camberwick Green was a (EDIT*) Animation from 1966. It was reworked a little in Life on Mars for 'Sam'. Think I'm getting too old!

The game is doing realistically well, though i must say some of our fellow VGCers must be a little disappointed deep inside that it didnt sell a gazillion copies week 1. I also wonder if the recalls have had a lasting effect on the whole thing. I expect it to clear the 5 million mark also, as a game of this much quality and promise should.

Maybe, but I myself always figured it would be the legs that were REALLY impressive and Day 1 would not be blockbuster even if the game totally was. It's like Sony got a Nintendo game.
