It did pretty good.

In Americas, it opened slightly better than Ps3's 2nd best seller - CoD 4, which sold 233K first week and 109K second. Not as good as MGS 4 though, which opened at almost 650K.

What do people expect for end of the year?

I expect 5 million per region (So that at the end of the year someone can quote me and say it failed to meet expectations.)

don't know what RES2 is.... but Fallout did as well as LBP. Don't see how it's a "decision choosing" thing, when everyone goes through the same decision process in every game purchase, and for that matter, every purchase.
