Why are you counting a LBP victory against Gear at countries where this even was released, like German?

Neither Gears nor LBP debuted in NZ. Not sure why, maybe they getting them later or mabye Gears is banned? Hard to imagine Gears wouldn't debut in top 10.

So basically LBP only got above Gears 2 in a country where Gears is banned or when the game wasn't available yet.

@MrStickball: Although we don't know how much closer Gears would have been to Halo 3 and GTA4 with the extra days we can say its clearly trending below both games. Its first 2 day sales are below the first day sales of Halo 3 (266k) and GTA4 (335k).

@Evil: If Gears 2 are banned in Germany than they won't sell there, will they?
No matter the reason Gears 2 didn't make successful debut in Germany and I think "the score" should resemble this.


Also don't take it too seriously, it's not an equal fight to begin with and LBP is pretty lucky to have 2 points against Gears. I won't be surprise if it won't win in any other place. If you want simply subtract one or two point from LBP result. Netherlands chart isn't that good representation of Gears success either.

Thanks BKK. I've added Sweden to second post (in standard format).

I also deleted New Zealand chart. GFK posted chart for week 44 but labeled it with "9th November" so I made mistake and posted it as chart for week 45. I guess we may not get NZ chart this week.
