As for exclusives, I wasn't talking about them. You can't compare EXCLUSIVE games between different consoles. The "different type of software" argument also stands.

 

 

Cherrypicking at the best :) Like Bod said, you can argue about different kinds of software, but software as a whole, (Like this thread, the opinion on the interview, etc) Wii wins... and funny, he believes that the Wii needs more games...

Is it just me, or do these kind of threads pop-up mostly 1-2 days after the week's numbers are in? Maybe there's a psychological explanation for this.

You'd be better off saying software, as the abbreviation could be easily mistaken for something else.

true at least on my experience gets boring pretty fast even with mario kart and brawl unless you play a lot with friends

Wii version of SW:TFU will have great legs and it's very possible that it will outsell the PS3 version, it arleady made more money for the developer then the PS3 version because of the production costs. Games on the Wii do not have to sell that much to be a commercial success, No More Heroes (the best selling Suda game), Boom Blox, Z&W have been making nice profits for the developers (they said it). And THQ have claimed that DE Blob is on  a course to making quite a healthy sum of money, developers will continue to support wii because it makes money.

If you're so keen on Cherry picking; i can say that JRPG's do not sell on the PS3 with Tales Spin Off games on the Wii in Japan outselling Valkyria Chronicles and Eternal Sonata combined.
