Well, sony had a great success with their ps2, and it deserved it. A few years after the launch, sony introduced the pstwo, a simple slim version. But, at the same time, they gave japan a much more interesting thing: the PSX. PSX is an improved playstation 2, with a big hard drive, a beautifull design (IMO), a brand new interface: the XMB (remember we're in 2003). It allows you to record tv programs and to save pictures and music, in fact, it's like a ps3 but with ps2 specifications. Now here is the point of my topic. Instead of the pstwo (slim version), sony should have launched the psx. This would have shown people how usefull a media center is and maybe, playstation 3 would be more successfull now. Of course, the price (I think it was around 800$ in japan) should have been lower (a 20GB HD would have been enough at that time).
