I got a few pictures of my launch. I dunno if I should upload em, just me and a bunch of the employees goofing around with gears and not working to help customers. Ah, good stuff.

I went to the midnight launch at Best Buy in NoHo. I got my copy autographed by Rod Fergusson as well as some other cool swag. They even gave me this remote controlled tank free because I bought the Limited Edition. I may take pics and put them up sometime this weekend.

I'm not a fan of lines so I waited until about 11pm then I drove down there. By the time I arrived there were no lines and I just walked right in. Traffic was a bitch though with all that construction on Houston St.

We had a Gears 2 tourney before the launch at the Gamestop here. There were also 3 Reps from Microsoft there and a couple Epic employees. They didn't bring the COG armor and Lancers like last time (I think they used them for the big launch somewhere else). I did get a T-shirt, Gears poster, and a couple Microsoft lanyards.

They had some giveaways for some big Gears 2 standups and other merchandise but I didn't win any of that :(

Turnout was pretty high, much bigger than the GTAIV launch that I went to last time but still nowhere near the Halo 3 one. I don't know if anything will live up to that.
