We had a Gears 2 tourney before the launch at the Gamestop here. There were also 3 Reps from Microsoft there and a couple Epic employees. They didn't bring the COG armor and Lancers like last time (I think they used them for the big launch somewhere else). I did get a T-shirt, Gears poster, and a couple Microsoft lanyards.
They had some giveaways for some big Gears 2 standups and other merchandise but I didn't win any of that :(
Turnout was pretty high, much bigger than the GTAIV launch that I went to last time but still nowhere near the Halo 3 one. I don't know if anything will live up to that.
