Glad you like the colour. Also dont get me wrong, but how can you play and be on VGchartz. Dont you lose the whole atmosphere thing?

Im just saying dont comment on things you are pulling out of thin air.. R2 beta looks terrible compared to the actual game..

I dont want to but in, but I dont have either. However the reviewers dont say that R2 takes HD visuals to a new realm. It's Gears 2 that has that label (or words to the same effect) from the majority of reviewers. So I can believe the statement moreso. Also We shouldnt compare a sub 90 game to a 90+ metacritic game. IT's not really fair.

I dont need to be in this thread anyway, I just wanted my friend to see this guys impressions, since he is buying the game. Looks like we need to compare it to a FPS, and call it "a sub game".

Oh I was dying a lot, and at the start of that section there is a section where you can't do anything useful
Anyway, I am going to play for a bit more, hopefully finish Act 1, then probably stop for the night (LBP arrived today as well!)
Oh, and I do have a crappy tv

Actually mathmatics tells us the more reviews there are the harder to keep a high score. More people have to be impressed than unimpressed to keep a high score with more reviewers. Like I said I was stating NOT to compare. It's not fair.
According to this site would you prefer AA game? (less than 90)
Anyways lets not destroy the thread.
Just finished act 1... it certainly ended on a high note! I really like the mortar!
It is certainly noticeable how it is far more epic and has much more varied gameplay. I do miss the close encounters a bit, but then again, every time I am in a small battle with my trusty lancer, it feels even better!
I also really like the achievement tickers
