I think the PS3 is still doing pretty darn good for it's cheapest console being $399, and it's competitors being @ $199 and $249. Even the way the Economy is!!!

Yes it is but do we need ANOTHER thread saying the SAME EXACT thing every other person has been saying on here. :p

Lose even MORE money for Sony with each sale?

Wait, they are making a profit off of each console now, aren't they?

a $299 PS3, Wow just Wow
Even if PS3 was the same price as 360, MS would still pull it out just because of Advertising. I prefer the PS3 this gen but i have to hand it to MS. There the King of advertising and marketing.

No Sony the king of marketing!
I mean how else could you get blind fanboys to believe that there console (PS2) is stronger than XBOX!

Nope, not as far as I know. They're just losing less. Unless I'm mistaken...?
On topic, I suppose you're correct that it's doing well considering the listed factors, but I'm pretty sure Sony wants it to do much, much better than "considering."
You have a firm grasp on the obvious...you mean to say that if it were cheaper it would sell more? Give the man a prize!
