How often do u think it is partial where the female could have prevented it? Like not going to clubs alone, not walking alone at night, not being alone with a guy at party?

I am not saying it is the females fault by any means, I am just wondering how many of these are "forced" rape... Like they were being cautious and were kidnapped or whatever.

Are girls not allowed their independence? We shouldn't have to be afraid of those situations. Unfortunately we are. We should be allowed to be alone.

I actually had a creepy situation once where I went to a bar... alone. A dude started talking to me saying how I was awful brave to go to the bar alone. He got drunk... asked me to drive him and his friend home. I said no. He also started talking about how he watched me everyday and wrote about me. At this point I was a bit afraid of him and didn't know what to do. So I went outside with another chick and took it as my chance to leave. Ugh that was so horrifyingly creepy.

It's not just girls, guys shouldn't be walking alone late at night either.

I used to work really long hours. My ex-wife and I were having sex and she was riding me. I was just wiped and I told her I didn't want to anymore because I was just too tired. Nah. That's just fulfilling marital duties so some guy down the street doesn't. Seriously, I was sick a few times and my wife wanted some but I still did it. Now, if I told her no and she kept pushing - and then forced me to, against my will, yeah, that's rape.

Do you have stats for the bolded? It seems a little ignorant to say "pretty much all chicks get raped" unless you have some sort of stats that point in that direction. Also is this a personal thing? You have the same attitude you would find from someone that just got robbed from a black guy and go on a tirade upholding the stigmatism that black men are all thieves.

 

It's more like... 1 in 6... in USA...

So while it's not pretty much all... it's a pretty high statistic when you take into accounts countries where what we would consider rape is considered the right of a husband etc.

In the UK... 1 out of every 200 women was raped.

I mean even the really conservative statistics that don't consider a lot of what we consider rape put it at like.... 1 in 10 i think.

1 our of 50 men are child molesters, so a fare amount on this forum would be that to, if you just went by the numbers.

Oh, and the number of Catholic Priests that are child molesters is 1 in 100, so as bad as that is, you're still better off leaving your kid with father McKay, then you are with Uncle bob.

Why rape? Usually, if I cry enough, the lady will just give it to me!

But seriously, I dated a girl who was raped before. Understandably, it made her crazy. I would try to get intimate with her, and she would cover her head up with a pillow. Eventually, I quit talking to her. Nothing I could say would comfort her. Now she's with some jerk who treats her like shit.
