Are girls not allowed their independence? We shouldn't have to be afraid of those situations. Unfortunately we are. We should be allowed to be alone.
I actually had a creepy situation once where I went to a bar... alone. A dude started talking to me saying how I was awful brave to go to the bar alone. He got drunk... asked me to drive him and his friend home. I said no. He also started talking about how he watched me everyday and wrote about me. At this point I was a bit afraid of him and didn't know what to do. So I went outside with another chick and took it as my chance to leave. Ugh that was so horrifyingly creepy.
