I wonder if the Wii will be able to pull off 50%+ market share this week; it's gonna have to pull giant numbers in America.

Believe it or not, some people thought the opposite. It was [almost] obvious that the ps3 was gonna win this week. GTA,LBP (despite not being what everyone thought), bundles..... the ps3 had a big shot of beating the wii....still, people laugh at the idea in DMJ's thread, which i find kind of stupid.

I am ashame to say I was one of those pessimist who doubted the PS3's ability beat the wii, I expected slightly over 20k sale but is seems there was even more people waiting for the new SKU than I thought. Lets hope sales stabilize the PS3 to a better position ^_^

Good job to the PS3....but a lot of big releases came out in the same week....hoepfully there are enough big games still to come to keep this up
