Forums - Microsoft - Banjo Kazooie Eurogamer Review: NO PLATFORMING

Eurogamer gave MGS4 8/10 pretty much proof they have no credibility. Don't listen to any of these reviews play the demo and make up your own mind.

No, what it comes down to is that Ninja Gaiden II was not as good as the first one (Itagaki said that had to do with the limited size of the 360's dvds); therefore, it was a disappointment, and that explains its Metacritic and Game Rankings scores.

On the other hand, Sigma was a remake of the first game which was better than NGII; therefore, Sigma is also better than NG II and that accounts for its review scores. Ninja Gaiden I was a AAA game. At best Ninja Gaiden II could only be called a B+, but that is a better score than most reviewers (the people that are suppossably qualified and capable enough at reviewing games to be able to get paid for doing so) across the vast majority of publications were willing to give that game.

Ninja Gaiden II did not live up to its predecessors. Now you people will probably put some kind of spin on it to make it seem as if it did since its on your beloved 360's, but again what you say will go against the majority of qualified opinions.

NOT Platform......!!!!!!!!!!!
This is too bad....I loved this game back in N64!!!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Such a young account and already trolling? If you are gonna make an account just to spew BS at least try to build some legitimacy.

The issues that NG2 was hammered for were not related whatsoever with DVD size:

Camera issues? Please tell us why extra gigabytes would fix the camera algorythms.

Stupidly overpowered missile enemies? What you mean removing them or lowering the damage on the projectiles would require more storage?

576p rendering? That's not a problem with assets, it's a problem with the engine. Again, equations don't fill up dozens of gigabytes.

lol. Actually Itagaki said NG2 is the definitive version and is everything he ever wanted to make in a Ninja Gaiden game. While panning the PS3s Sigma game...

http://www.totalvideogames.com/Ninja-Gaiden-2/news/Itagaki-Ninja-Gaiden-2-Is-My-Final-Instalment-12678.html

"The out-spoken developer also revealed his displeasure over 2007s PlayStation 3 revamp of the original instalment, Ninja Gaiden Sigma.  Discussing the title, a visually polished port of the Xbox original, Itagaki-san said, "It was a weird chimera of a game, with some things here and some things there.  From a game design standpoint, I don;t think it was done well at all.  This [Ninja Gaiden II] is the definitive version of Ninja Gaiden...I look at NG2 and I think its the culmination of everything Ive done, but its also a chance for me to change how I think about game design."
In other words, its a safe bet to conclude that a Sigma edition of Ninja Gaiden II isnt on the cards for PS3 anytime...well, ever."

So yeah, please don't troll or post false information...

Ninja Gaiden 2 didn't meet expectations. It only had a Metacritic score of 81. The first ones on the original XBOX were over 90%, the PS3 remake of the originals on the still scored 7 points higher than Ninja Gaiden 2. For Ninja Gaiden 2 to meet expectations, it would have had to have scored over a 90 and had a higher metacritic score than Sigma and it did neither. Lost Odyssey was called a Final Fantasy Killer on several forums. Did it come anywhere near getting Final Fantasy review scores? No. It failed to meet expectations. Same with Tales of Vesperia. People predicting that it would be the greatest Tales game ever. It fell a few points short of that goal and still no Tales game has ever gotten above an 8.5 at IGN. Resistance 2 is meeting expectations better than any of those 360 games that we mentioned. It still has a higher score than the first game in its series.

Fable 2's score, like Lost Odyssey and Tales score, is also lower than most games in the Final Fantasy series

Gears 2 was supposed to be the greatest game of all time, yet its Game Ranking's score is lower than those of both Little Big Planet and Bioshock PS3. Since Banjo is a Rare game, I felt it had a chance of giving the 360 some footing in Others if it came in with Little Big Planet size review scores but early reviews indicate that it is not going to be able to do that.

Reviews don't matter. They certainly aren't indicative of quality at such a small level of distinction.

You have consistantly changed your argument to fit your "360 library sucks because of reviews" theory.

Quoting IGN, then changing to Gamerankings, then metacritic, each time one doesn't suit your Pro-Sony anti-360 arugment, you move the goalposts a little, and quote some other review source that does fit your argument.

The truth is, that way more negative things can be brought up about the PS3s library, this very year, than can about the Xbox 360s, using metacritic, gamerankings, and IGN, if you cherrypick which source you want to use with each example.

You must think we're really dumb to actually believe that any of your propoganda is actually indicative of the failure or lackthereof of any game, much less a 360 exclusive. A game you are bound to despise simply because of the console it is released on.

Now I'll play your role, with your own ignorant logic(keep in mind, this is using his logic, and it is obviously an incorrect generalization, and I don't believe any of it for a second, this is just giving him a taste of his own medicine):

According to metacritic, for instance, the PS3 has had many failures this year, including Fallout 3 inferior version, Resisance 2, Disgaea, Valkyria(sucks compared to Final Fantasy and Fable 2), Haze, Socom, Motostorm. Again, only two exclusive titles even worth mentioning according to your gamerankings/metacritic deductions. There were all hyped to be "The best games ever" by PS3 fanboys. Next, according to IGN, Disgaea 3 is a total failure. It's one of the worst games released this gen. According to gamespot, the PS3 version of fallout 3 isn't even AAA, but the 360 version is. The only games worth playing this year on the PS3 were MGS4, and LPB, and LBP was marketed and created for kids and casuals. It can't even manage to stay live, with server issues.

PlayStation 3 Game by NIS     IGN Score: 6.7

Banjo is better than that.

According to gamerankings, the Xbox 360 has 17 AAA titles.

The playstation 3 has 8.

Don't even get me started on the abyssimal sales of Playstation 3 exclusives. I hope you aren't looking forward to sequels for Disgaea or Valkyria sequels. They both absolutely suck compared to Final Fantasy, and their sales were/will be poor. Disgaea 3 wasn't even as good as Disgaea 2 or 1.

lol, SoCOM. I can't believe that game was even hyped.

1. Playstation 3: SOCOM: Confrontation (2008) 60%
Sony Computer Entertainment America

So, what we have is 4 AAA exclusives. Two on each platform, just this year. If we look at all the years, 360 is vastly ahead and the PS3 has a much worse library. The PS3 will need a much faster pace if it ever wants to wint he review race. Plus 360 still has a chance with L4D and TLR. Does the PS3 have any chances left this year? WKC is 09. If we look at multiplats, the PC360 multiplats are the only console exclusive mulitplats there are, so, yes, once again, PS3, gamerankings, IGN, and metacritic own Sony.

Welp, that is obviously all BS, but I have to speak a language Triplebph understands, ladies and gentlemen. The ignorant language of someone who has strange self serving points of view, and who places all their faith in critics numerical reviews.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

To those that believe reviews aren't just opinion:

1up just gave it an A-

Higher than Resistance 2.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

You're smart Zen and good at putting spin on things, but at the end of the day, everything you say is slanted to make the 360 look better than it really is, and the majority of your input holds about as much validity as Bill O'Reilly's nightly comments which is zero.

You either reply to the counter-arguments issued against your ridicolous claim or I'm reporting you on the grounds that you are just trolling.
