played the demo,
I'll admit it that I'm purchasing it.
I really liked the first one and from i know, this game is a continuation of the first one.
loved the first game, and really enjoyed the demo.

Oh, I don't disagree that UNS absolutely should have online multiplayer, but the lack of it does not automatically make it the lesser game. Terrible local and online play is worse than good local and no online play.

fair enough. I guess the reviews will decide.
But 360 offers two Naruto games with Online, compared to PS3s one.
I cant speak for Broken Bond but I can tell you Rise of a Ninja is a quality game.
2008 360 prediction: 26 million (thus surpassing XBOX lifetime sales in one year less time).
As long as there are 360 bashers, I will be there to do something about it.

Online offers a lot of replay, but an additional feature to a feature doesn't make it two games.
Having played the demo of Broken Bond and the full game of Ultimate Ninja Storm which I now own, I have no regrets on my decision to stick with UNS. Online play or not.

Last year Ubisoft released Rise of a Ninja which was very good. So I was wondering who is getting The Broken Bond? PS. The little hype surrounding The Broken Bond must be from that Ubisoft boycott Nintendo fanyboys threw down????? |
probably because it's inferior to ultimate ninja storm
i predict ultimate ninja storm will sell more than the broken bond ltd

The first step to having a good game fighting game is to actually have a decent fighting system. The Broken Bond does not. The fact that Namco Bandai can make the fighting fantastic but Ubisoft can't make a decent fighting system in 2 games is inexcusable. See, I can do it too. Online multi is a big hit against it, but the actual quality of NUNS is a bigger factor I think than features. |
The main thing going for uns is its presentation and graphics that are true to the anime. The weakest part of the game is its fighting system which is far to simplistic (one button is far to simplistic). On the other hand its the exact opposite with BB.
N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!

WHAT?! I LOVED the combat system in Rise of a Ninja! Perfect mix of fast action, reflexes, timing, and fun mini-games
Kept me entertained for months.
I probably won't get either Broken Bond or Ultimate Ninja Storm, though--not a fan of the franchise as a whole.

Spamming the physical attack button will get you raped just as fast as spamming A in Smash. Time for a lesson in video games brought to you by naznatips.
The fighting genre is often (and reasonably) divided into two distinct categories. Brawlers and Technical Fighters. Here, we have shining examples of both. A Brawler uses a simple set of commands to focus on timing and combination of those simple commands. A Technical Fighter uses complex sequences of buttons to execute the moves necessary to win (these are also the games people call button mashers, cause they are too complicated to spend time learning so people just hammer the buttons and hope that they create a special attack or combo).
While a Brawler is not as er... complex, I suppose is the word, as a technical fighter, it's easily the much faster genre, and reaction time becomes far more important. In Ultimate Ninja Storm for example being able to tap the guard button at the perfect moment lets you do a substitution behind your opponent. Chaining together traps and other items with your attacks, projectiles, and support characters is the way to fight skilfully and dominate your oponenet. Most importantly, making effective use of speed and momentum.
To summarize: A Technical Fighter is for the person who likes to pretend he's better than everyone else because he's studied something they don't have the time or desire to learn. A Brawler is for someone who would rather play a game on equal footing, and have the winner determined by reaction time and skill.

true, but the broken bond just like rise of a ninja will be more of an action/adventure game.
