Forums - Sony Discussion - Red Alert 3 back on track for P3

Apparently, EA is promising to do "some really cool things" with the Blu-Ray capacity of the machine, and the game will most likely support the full 1080p high-definition resolution. One of the original pioneers of the strategy genre, C&C has been absent for over seven years time, and those who want to once again revel in strategy goodness can pick up the Xbox 360 or PC version on November 14. PS3 owners have to wait a bit longer, but EA producer Amer Ajami said - like so many developers have said - that the PS3 is a tough console to work with. C&C TV presenter David Silverman elaborated further:

I will quote myself from the other thread 2 hours ago:

I predict an epic failure.

for this game?

PS3 version will be the definitive console version even if it doesn't support mouse and keyboard.  If it does, wow.

Nice of them to announce this now, instead of waiting.  ;)  +1

At least we know that version will flop hard.

RTS belongs on the PC, unless this game supports keyboard and mouse as standard its virtually unplayable

from the other thread:
yaaaaaaaaaaaay I don't care about RA but yaaaaaaaaaay

RTS has never worked on consoles and I don't see any reason for it to start working now. Having said that, even the PC version probably pales in comparison to the excellence that was the original.
