150k in one day for a game on a system that has barely sold a million is great. Certainly this did sell PS3's. I'm going to say the system will boost to 30-40k this week. HSG isn't a savier, but games like it are a step in the right direction.

59.99 for the game and PS eye, so NO very expensive.
Sony is just doing plain bad in Japan, and it will take more than Hot Shots Golf to bring system sales up to any respectable levels. I'm thinking FF13 will be the best bet.

You're right, $59.99 is not very expensive. It's too bad that's not what it costs. It's 9,980 yen (about $81) in Japan, and will most likely retail for $90 in America. So yeah, it's a bit pricey. Not to mention if you want to use anything but the starter deck you need to pay $5 per card booster pack (most of which will be worthless).
Awesome news. Its just good to see something do over 200k for a week on PS3 which this should easily get. About time the corpse twitched. They need to keep it up.
As far as I know, there is no news about the number of HSG5 in Japanese sites.
However, I think the first day of MP8 and HSG5 are almost same...

I thought it was going to be priced at $79.99 the ladie in gamespot said it would be around there(by ladie I mean the woman demonstrating the game)

No, the US price is unconfirmed, but it's not uncommon for a US game to cost more than it does in Japan. It could be $80 but I think $90 is more likely.

What are you talking about?? All of those games sold extremely well considering that PS3 userbase at the time...PS3 userbase is growing and will contiune to grow as more games come out...there isnt any system savior...but there is a troll that shouldnt be here!! but nevermind cklmb mod took care of that...O_O
