Gamespot are 360 fanboys, dont worrythey will give gears a higher score

Like all review websites, Gamespot are 360 fanboys when 360 games get nice scores, in the meanwhile whenever they give good scores to ps3 games or bad scores to 360 games they are fair and just.

Mainly because the bolded hasn't actually happened. Except MGS4. And Too Human.

They gave Tools of Destruction and Wipeout HD 7.5/10, and Uncharted 8/10, then gave Braid a 9.5/10, therefore they are 360 fanboys. And don't point me to metacritic, because metacritic is owned by the people who own gamespot (CNET). They give gamespot scores huge priority when giving metascores. Note how they say some scores are more important than others.

Well, I suppose the results are (partly) in. IGN says they're equal, let's see if Gamespot agrees. After they gave Gears 2 a 9/10, I don't think they'll give Resistance 2 anything higher. If they do, cool.

Actually, I don't think Ratchet and Clank deserved to be a 9 or higher game either, Uncharted deserves 8's or just a 9 and I haven't played wipeout yet so can't comment there.

The only thing R&C has going for it is the visuals and new weapons (which, let's face it, haven't been as imaginative as previous entries), everything else about the game is R&C: Up your Arsenal. You can't honestly say it deserves AAA status if it's just the same game we've been playing for years now with new visuals.

Sure they may be a little harsh with the 7.5's, but gamespot have always been known to be harsh as reviewers.

They're not harsh, they're idiots. They gave Metal Gear Solid (Which IGN gave a 9.8, has a 94 on metacritic and is considered one of the greatest games ever made) an 8.7.

Uncharted is definitely at least a 9. Gamespot gave it an 8. The fact that they gave Braid a 9.5 (okay, I haven't played it so I can't judge) while IGN gave it an 8.8. They gave Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow a 7.1 on PS2 and an 8.4 on Xbox. They consistently review 360 games before PS3 games- The Gears 2 review is already up, despite it releasing 3 days after Resistance 2 which has yet to be reviewed.

ONLY the visuals and new weapons? And the new minigames and the new story and the fact that the characters and voice acting are better than ever, and what I thought was the best improvement, the HOLO-WINGS. It's a truly excellent game, like ALL Ratchet and Clank games (Insomniac didn't make Secret Agent Clank or Size Matters so they don't count). It's an AAA for sure, but you only get the full enjoyment if you are a fan of R&C and played through Up Your Arsenal five times. That's right. Five. In fact, I think it's better than TOD, if only because of the multiplayer and the Starship Phoenix. They're both in my top 10, Up Your Arsenal at 5th, Tools of Destruction at 7th.

Yeah we get it, they didn't gave your oh-so-precious ps3 exclusives stellar reviews, boo-hoo.

Suck it up, gamespot's been pretty much inline with the rest of gigs out there, check out gamerankings and metacritic. ps3 versions of multiplatforms rutinely score lower, many (not to say most) of the ps3 exclusives have been lackluster... the problem are not the journalists reporting it, the problem have been Sony's own wrongdoings.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

If you get bothered about what score certain websites give a game on a certain format then you need help.

Reviews mean nothing, if people belived that rubbish then Fable 2 wouldn't have sold so well BUT seeing is beliving and it ended up being a fantastic game and now a best seller in it's first week..

Gears of war 2 is out Friday so nothing else matters :) ......
