i'm using game maker for making the game yeswiican. the full program costs 20 bucks, but i'm using the free version of the program (here: http://www.yoyogames.com/gamemaker/about).

the pro version has a few things the lite version doesn't including the ability to have 3d graphics, online play of any kind, partical effects (though you can just make your own objects in the game for that, so it's not much of a loss.) the ability to load resources from outside the game, and changing grapphics on the spot (like rotating them, changing the color of them, ect). the lite version i still pretty good, you can do some good stuff with just that.

hey everyone. i've decided to try to put a level editor into the game, so i have started working on that the past couple days. maybe i'll be able to show of something in a week or so.

I'm only halfway through, but I gotta say Well Done!

It's pretty fun, and while the levels haven't gotten absurdly challenging yet they ARE fun to go through. I especially like the black holes. The only complaints I have so far is that the balls don't feel bouncy enough (they look like handballs, so I keep expecting them to act like those too) and that the camera is too sensitive on the larger levels: it starts to scroll when I'm just a few inches from the center of the screen, whereas I'd prefer it if it stayed static until I was near the edge of the screen.

Off to try a few more levels now.

glad to see you like it noname. about the ball physics, i think i'm pretty much stuck with how they are now. if i changed them now, then some levels might suddenly become too easy/too hard/unplayable, and i'd probably have to go back and change some of the levels

with the screen scroll thing though, i can change that.

anyway, i've just been working on polishing it lately. i'm pretty much done with it [it's due in a bit over 2 weeks, so i better be lol] so i'm just gonna try to squash a few more bugs, and things. i'm not really planning on adding anymore levels at this point, so it'll just be at the 30 there are now.
