Reggie not too keen on Disaster: Day of Crisis

We hung out with Reggie, and basically, he doesn’t think Disaster is a $50 game. Especially in terms of audio, which he said is laughable. He said he’s going to watch it and see how it performs in Europe. If it does well, you’ll probably get it in America, and if it’s a bomb, you probably won’t.

Damnit, Reggie…I want Disaster: Day of Crisis! Yes, the voice acting may be a bit silly…so re-record it for North American launch?! Pull some strings, you’re high up on the food chain. Nintendo let you, and you ONLY, protect their one DSi! Get it back, hold it for ransom, negotiate some money for Disaster localization, get some new voiceovers, and get the game out in the states!

Well if Reggie says it..... It must be true... The game's idea had such potential too! If only it turned out better.

What is he (Reggie) talking about??? I´ve played this game recently and it has one of the best Audio sounds of all Wii games I own. I´m using my home theater with Pro Logic II and this game just rocks. It´s one of the few games that really emulates 5.1 sound good. The music is great, the voice acting good and the sound effects are ok in my book.

 Because he dont know what he is talking about... And Ninty still wants to promote Wii Music, Wii Sports resort and Animal Crossing in america thats why they keep their other franchise in Japan only Like Fatal Frame IV and Disaster. So dont be surprised if what they shown in the October conference like Sin and Punishment 2 will not be released in America.

Sin & Punishment 2 and Punchout have already been confirmed for USA because of VC sales. hasn't been confirmed for europe yet tho:(

the problem is with the other announcements, eg. takt of magic, dynamic slash and cosmic walker. whilst they are published by nintendo in japan we dont know about other terrirtories. im actually hoping sega picks up these titles if nintendo doesnt. but more liekly theyll be picked up by ubisoft

Even if the game isn't that great which I don't know if it is all that bad. IGN gave it an 8.0 I think and judging by the written review they gave, it seems to have some good qualities. I say they should release it and let Americans decide if they want the game or not. I think it would certainly do better in the US than it did in Japan. I don't see any reason to "punish" us for how a game does somewhere else when it was less likely to be successful there.

What the fuck. The music is amazing and the voice acting is above average. What the hell is Reggie on about? The only thing that might be subpar are SFX, but they aren't that bad either.

The reason's he's so shy about bringing this over is because you f***ers didn't buy Elite Beat Agents. That's right, you heard it here, folks.
