a Teen rating for a MK game? what's next? A PG-13 rating for Max Payne? HAH!

Fact of the matter is that MK hasn't been good for a very long time. This game looks like a step in the right direction, I must say. Definitely a must-buy for me, and I've been excited for it ever since it was first unveiled. I played MK way back on my SNES, playing Mortal Kombat 2, but you don't hear me whining. In fact, I'm embracing this. It looks really great, and the fatalitys/brutalitys look brutal enough without blood splattering all over the screen, I think. In fact, this makes them more creative.

I'm sorry you even had to find out.  It's truly better if were to forget as fast as possible.  This will be the first truly awful MK of all time.  I mean..."Can Sonia Blade really defeat Superman???"  Come on.   The game is clearly stupid and has not point to it but to get what's left of the MK fanbase to buy another game.

Anyways, I was confused at first. I thought this thread was going to talk about MK vs. DC selling all it's copies. But then I thought, it hasn't been released....

Yeah but MK was ran into the ground a long time ago. It's about time they try something new. I personally think it's brilliant! It is my next game to get.

Midway is almost dead they had to do someting to make money if this game fails they might be done for and might aproach Sony or M$ to be bought out.

If the MK franchise never took itself seriously, how can it be that it sold out as you claim? Even the greatest game in the series, MK 2 had all those -alities to parody itself. So an over-the-top game with such a silly premice is well within the grasp of MK. Anyway, in the next MK game they probably going to retcon the whole thing.
