PS2=2.5 million

PS3=2.43 million

X360=2.2 million(with a price cut)

I am still amazed as how PS2 can do this.It's freaking 8 years old and almost as expensive as an X360.

why do you think that is?

PS3 and 360 are doing bad ?or is it PS2 that is doing good?

and people wondered why sony dropped the BC from the PS3.

PS2 is doing extremely well. Despite the current gen's superior hardware, the PS2 has better games than any other console ever made (not counting PC)

But really its cause of the Wii,Games devs make games for Wii then port them over.

ps2 is a monster. its not stopping at 120 mil, its going for 140 million!

Go the PS2. PS2 8 years old and still going strong.

Well, why wouldn't Sony keep this on the market, it's basically pure profit, so they could use it quite well + it serves as a blanket for the "we have no BC in the PS3".


I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of:

"Bring in your PS2, get 20 € off of your PS3 and get BC in return" or something like that in the future.
