My god at Wii numbers. Geez.
Obviously Wii shipments are increasing in America and sales are going up. DS is also showing impressive numbers while the rest are showing normal increases in pre holidays.
Also we are seeing just how unimportant this 360 pricedrop has been that even though at $200 it's sales are 3x less than that of Wii and barely 25k over PS3 which is $200 more expensive. Price is showing just how unimportant it can be when brand dominates. However it is fair to say that 360 increases from the price would be more prevalent in later November and December due to masses of mainstream buying.
Either way sales are showing increase year over year. Last year the five current generation hardwares sold 519,517 units. Compared to this year on this week they have sold 631,804. Although it is important to say that 360 and PSP are down while the other 3 are up... significantly.
Expect all software to start showing increases with the hardware along with increase in sales of new releases.
