What game doesn't have DRM these days?
What's sad is Pirates will still get this game for free while we have to live on DRM.

Considering Silent Hill: Homecoming will be exclusive for steam on the PC, I think It's only a matter of time before everything becomes digitial download/steam like games can no longer be pirated.

I can't download large games like that. I have hughesnet, which is satellite internet(only thing available in my rural area), and it has a Fair Access Policy that limits my download ability to 350 mbs a day.

The hours of 2am to 5am are not registered under the fap, for larger downloads, but I reserve that time for porn.

It took me like 3 days of doing that to download the 3gb game Indigo Prophecy over XBL.

I have a huge ass satellite on top of my house, lol, and that's my internet. I swear, it's almost as big as those old satellite dishes that we used to have before they invented Primestar, and way before Dish Network.

well your lucky steam allows restartable downlaods so that you dont have to use up your entire limit. Just split the downlaod to small percentage a day.

Yeah, lol. Porn allows that too. The baddest ass pornsite on the internet now has free dedicated server downloads for all its streaming video....

....you probably already know where I'm talking about. I use the pause feature there too.

I can get about 2 gigs in the 3 hour limit, if I'm constantly downloading(latency keeps me having to reconnect to XBL when I download is why it took so long). Hughesnet, late at night, still has that terrible satellite latency, but the download speeds are blazing.

I've been wanting The Witcher, but I think I'll buy that off ebay.

On an unrelated note, I just bought Heros Season 1, never seen an episode of it. Time to check that out.

Remember to get The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

Indeed. It's awesome!

is another game I wont be getting. I recommend NO PC gamers get it either.

The game contains either Securom OR StarForce which is worse then Securom. Both pieces of spyware software can screw up your software, stop hardware from working properly, and can open your hackers.

Avoid this game at all costs. There has been multiple reports of this game screwing up peoples PCs.

I hope I'm not the only one who lold at this

Don't know if it will works good at my laptop...Can You Run It says it does but I dont trust it..

Take my love, take my land..

This is why my Gaming PC is just that, for gaming.

I will install everything I want to play, and if for some reason, my XP craps out, oh well. Move the save games off, reinstall, move back. Done.

I also tend to finish one game before I start the next, so save games are not that important outside of the game I am currently playing.

So, XP for gaming. Mac for everything else. It works out extremely well :)

dont care because i will get the 360 version.

Or maintain multiple PCs. Or multiple boot drives for games. Or even better, an external RAID array specifically to store and play games. And yes, I like to keep every single game I'm even remotely still interested in playing installed.

Seeing as how my game PC is completely disassembled down to a bare frame until the new mobo arrives from NewEgg, I won't be doing much of any gaming or anything else with it until I put it back together.

I had a copy of both Dead Space and Far Cry in my hands and was looking for a copy of Fallout before I remembered that. So I went and bought a copy of GH World Tour instead (the new guitars with the touch sensitive fret bar section pretty much suck).

But the day my five year old Mac takes a dump on me... is the day I buy a new one to replace it. I am not holding my breath on that since the only times I've reinstalled the OS, is when I upgraded to the latest version of OSX.

I'll just buy the game on Steam when I'm ready to play it.

Lately that's become my solution to everything when it comes to PC games. It's just not as cool when you can find retail packaged copies for less since sales (for specific games) are a bit rarer through Steam.

As pointlessly rude as Burgles is, he does have a point:

Since we all hate piracy here...

Isn't securom an inevitability to have on your computer, if you want to be a PC gamer?

Also, since you, SSJ12, already have securom on your PC because of spore, why not get Fallout 3, since it's not gonna be putting anything on your PC at all?

In what way does it prevent piracy??? that's what you should ask yourself first.

It doesn't but we can't change the world and the idea of playing games is to enjoy them hence the term "game". Its not a crusade to put right all the wrongs of the world.

I leave that to charities and when I work in a charity shop ever wednesday for a few hours.

I bought it, sorry. And I bought Crysis Warhead, Spore and Mass Effect. sorry about that too!

the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

I can't do the side quest because I finished the main quest and didn't had a save before that X_X.
