People always overlook the PS3's killer price point when really no console this gen (even the Wii) would have survived at a similar price point to the PS3.
Wow, consumers really like the PS3 more than the 360.

The Playstation brand is still too strong to die after 1 fuck up on Sony´s part.
darth, 2 ways to look at the PS3´s situation, one in a good light and the other in a bad light.
You could say it´s amazing that despite all the negativity, comparisons with the 3DO, Saturn, etc....it´s now bound to at least reach 20 million LTD in its second full year.
On the other hand, one could argue it´s an embarassment the successor to the PS2 is still 5.5 million behind the Xbox brand, a full 2 years after launch.
sigh, one side only looks at the sony side, and kowenicki only looks at the xbox side.
Surely some of you are smart enough to look at both sides? :-/

The ps3 is also $200 more than the PS2 was at the same period! Who knew that?
Oh wait we leave out the important facts, and go straight to the negatives because the PS3 sucks.

I remember when halo 3 came out the ps3 was 7.5 mil behind the 360.. now its 5.55 and dropping ..so u and all the other nay sayers can stop with the its further behind than it was at lauch bs

Even though it was 6.6mil behind at launch... but of course... 5.5mil is the same as 6.6 now... /rollseyes.
