Odd, do you mean two rights dont make a right? I love deus ex, had it from release and still end up playing through it around once a year (when in those long summer months without a new good game in sight) and enjoy it every time.

Whoops, should have clarified-- I was talking about the wolves.

So much hate towards Oblivion, why?

- No real story

- Bland characters

- At best, a mentally challenged combat system

- First Person (seriously, WTF?)

- Penalties for dying/failing/being captured are a joke

- Wolves (as in, 20 million of them)

- Boring world environment

- Dungeons are only places remotely interesting

... shall I continue?

please do, because I think it was the best WRPG I played in years.

Somehow I forgot to mention scaling enemies... Ugh. Worst feature in the game.

I could rattle off 15-20 better WRPGs released in the past 10 years without even challenging my memory... Starting with every game released by Bioware.

Dammit that reminds me I've written the fallout 3 review for vgchartz but forgot to mention that NPC's don't level up with you :S

Buying it...actually, Amazon claims it will have it to me tomorrow along with a bobble-head, lunchbox, and Pip-boy clock radio!

The Atheist's Wager "It is better to live your life as if there are no
Gods, and try to make the world a better place for your
being in it. If there is no God, you have lost nothing
and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind.
If there is a benevolent God, He will judge you on your
merits and not just on whether or not you believed in Him."

NOŁ

Vgchartz = Video...Charts

(On Machina request take off from my sign..........)

I am going to buy it.

Don't know when will the review be coming up?

whew... i was considering buying this but if it's like oblivion then i'm out.

i read above that it could be played in a mode other than first person... how do you do this? i might try it again if it's possible.

If you're talking about Oblivion, you can click one of the sticks to change to third person on a console version. Small problem, though... The third person animations are completely broken.

I know you'll probably do this anyway, but I would suggest reading a few reviews once the game comes out, rather than making your decision based on folks assumptions about the game.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Still the same in fallout 3, it is really meant to be played in first person.
