Forums - General Discussion - Obama not a US citizen

Thanks RubangB, really both of these guys scare me, just BO more. I am afraid of what this country is going to look like 5 years from now. We are heading toward the United Socialist States of America and to our own destruction. I just wish that people would open their eyes to what is happening but it just seems that most people just do not care. I just long for another Reagan and I am afraid that we may never see this again. This whole issue is scary because it involves the total ignoring of our Constitution which leads to more until we have no Constitution any more. Your line at the bottom says it all

Its not scary that we are ignoring our constitution because Obama is legally a citizen. If he was not Berg would have shown the documents that would prove otherwise. And even if Obama was an indonesian citizen, he would have to give up his citizenship the way the law describes or it DOES NOT COUNT.

Anyways, I think the republicans have shown they are for socialsim if it suits their needs. They want to make this a theocracy. The extreme social cons have taken over the party. They would piss on the consitution if it allowed them to have what they wanted.

Reagan gets way more credit than he deserves. He was the one who turned the Republican Party into the abortion and gay marriage party rather than the fiscally conservative party.

Ya, but he would be rolling in his grave to see what has happened today. And, in his defense, I think his deficit was justified, it helped end the cold war along with the other circumstances. The thing thas it unforgivable for fiscal cons though, is after the war ended, the spending should have been massively decreased.

True, Regan didn't directly cause the current national debt problem we now face, but his progeny did following his example.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I think thats the problem. It was an extreme case that Reagen poured money in the defense budget, they should have been able to see that. I do not blame reagen for it. Remember, he cut alot of budget in his time as the gov of california (whether that was good or not is a matter of opinion and I won't go into it here) and I think that independent of the cold war, he would not have spent nearly as much. Bush though, could not see that. Especially the current one.

Our defense spending helped worry the USSR and aided in its collapse. But, spending does not have the same effect on terrorists, thus the strategy is bad. Judicous use of resources is how to win in the terror battle.

And, I got rolled too. Owned :/

Michael Savage or WorldNutDaily are not credible sources for anything. Obama was born in Hawaii. I know you people are getting desperate, but don't resort to outright lies because NOBODY is buying it.

My favorite thing is when people create a thread like this and act like the information they have is somehow new. As if this rumor hasn't been floating around til at least the middle of the summer. Just pathetic.

talk about a president that changed america.  Reagan is the MAN!

you don't have to credit him for anything, but I think he is one of the presidents we had.

o.t:  I don't this is an issue.  And I am voting for McCain.  We don't need this right now.

Also, I like Savage - for entertainment and information.

To run for president you only have to of lived in the USA for 14 years and be over the age of 35. So I still support his campaign.

Actually you have to be born a citizen.  Governor though, go right ahead.  Just ask Arny!

Well, not exactly, but close. You have to be born on US soil. It does not need to be the US when you were born there. So for example, if Austria became the 51st state, Arny could run for President.
