10 years means all Final Fantasy since FFVIII. I might have agreed if they said in the past 5 years because we got the horrible FFXII and a MMORPG but I'm sure Fable 2 hasn't more great ideas than FFVIII, FFIX and FFX.

The Fable franhise and Kotor revolutionized RPG's in a whole new way. You can truthfully control you characters and mold them as well as use them against your foes which ever side you drift off to.

Can you iterate a little more, because this kind of thing has been done in the Elder scrolls series to an extent.  Also, why are you bringing KOTOR in to this?

 FF is the most overated franchise ever. There is only 3 games I would give a 9.
FF2,6 and 7. The rest get 8 or lower. Loads of better JRPG's out there and WRPG's. ever since FF7, people think the series is untouchable. Well ugh it isnt. I must be the only one hoping FF13 doesnt screw up like 10 and 12.

I imagine they mean 7... considering where 6 placed on their 100 best games of all time list.

I can see how that would be the case though and i haven't even played Fable 2.
