It should be pretty interesting to see exactly how they're doing, especially considering Sony has just announced they're cutting their own earnings forcasts by an astonishing 57%.

A. Can you please explain what that means please. It's 7:30 in Chicago right now and I haven't slept at all... I don't really feel like sleeping. (lol i meant thinking)
B. Do you know when Sony and Nintendo releases theirs? (Was actually gonna create a thread 2 hours ago when we will see the quarterlys but I figured it wouldn't be for a while because last time was about a month and a half afterwards... but that was probablly because it was after Q4)
C. Just the earlier European price cuts are in this report right? Were their any big releases?
D. Do you expect +/-

According to that article they are talking about profits. Not earnings in general.

ok i thought you were talking about gaming division. that's why it didn't make sense. I was gonna ask "How can sony cut their earnings when they aren't earning"
So the profits will be down, but until we know what sales are like, we don't have a clue of what this really means.
All I can gather is that inistead of making 3 billion pounds, they're making 1.5 billion pounds?
Sony's refusal to cut prices this Holiday season will cost even more. They have to stop acting like they are the market leader, but the competitor.
