Megaman X, a peaceful robot who strives for a better world, and is almost completely unwilling to fight but will if given no other choice.

I would nominate Link, Mario, and Kratos as candidates.

I would pick Kratos because he kicks ass and would lead this country to a great future.

 I'm sure Mario and Link would have great speeches.

Also Kratos might try to get the US army to invade Mount. Olympis.  He might just say it's "War on Terror."
