@masterb8tr,,,,,,,,, nice to hear that from you

i am a muslim, and i am shocked and deeply offended about the inclusion of 2 phrases from our Holy Qur'an in a song,,, but on the bright side, sony are delaying one of their biggest games to rectify the thing, a patch is not a solution, not everyone have internet connection yet!!!!!!!

MASTERB8TR IF YOU WERE JOKING, IT"S NOT A GOOD JOKE, AND IF YOU WERE SERIOUS, IT"S SAD THAT YOU'RE SOOO RACIST !!!!

I find you offensive for finding this offensive.  Anyone this fanatical about any religion needs to buy land and start a settlement like the amish, and stay away from the rest of us.  You're freaks.

They are Gods words and therefore must be respected, I mean why is it so hard not to respect others?

Does the game become more fun if they put stuff like that in it?

So who wants to bet some of the first levels to show up once it's released are going to be penis cannons blowing up Qur'an spaceships?

I spit my orange out... man that'd be a sight!

Does anyone have an idea of the quotes?

Yesterday a reader sent us a link to a music file containing the two offensive phrases, which can be found here. Hit the jump for the translation of the offending phrases.

The words are:

1- In the 18th second: "كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').

2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: "كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').

^^^Excuse me, but what does death and destruction have to do with LBP? besides, I'm sure those quotes are present in the bible as well.

@ papflesje,,,
Look man, i am not extremist or narrow minded or anything,, but the Holy Qu'ran is our holyest thing cause it's the words of God,,, so for us messing with it or with it phrases is FORBIDEN !!!!!

and everyone has to suffer cause muslims are offended ???? Where did u get that from,, weird,,

and the "you cry and whine"" , well it seems that the only one whining here is you my friend ,, the game is delayed , live with it

It is forbidden within your religion.

Over here, we are allowed to speak our minds, and if someone decided to put that into a song (apparently a Muslim himself...) then all of a sudden, it's a problem?

You really don't see that this is actually doing more harm to the Muslim community?

I respect the fact that you wish to believe in the Qu'ran and what it says, but don't demand from me that I can't do what I wish to do within the boundaries of the law.  I am bound by the law, not by the Qu'ran or the Sharia.  Somehow, many Muslims can't seem to understand that their Qu'ran / Sharia isn't absolute.

It's a GAME... supposed to entertain... And apparently Muslims wish to hold this game back, because some line (like I said: a line that 99% of gamers wouldn't have noticed or even have understood) is against their Qu'ran law?  That's making gamers "suffer", yes.

I wanted to see you react if Sony said "sorry, we'll patch it, but don't fuss, it's only a game, nothing meant to insult"

they are your gods word, not mine. I should be able to use whatever words i want. I mean is it necessary to force your religion on others?
