I'm sorry, but.....these are the words of God? That's very general. All things on the earth will perish? Wtf? I don't care IF the Koran says it....I bet millions of book worldwide have that phrase in it....should all of those books be recalled?

How many times did Jesus say "I will return"? How many times have you heard that phrase in any form of media? Should Christians get their panties in a bunch and pull everything that says that? I wouldn't, and I'm a Christian.

Gods words huh? Every soul shall have the taste of death....there. I said it. Should I be banned now, and have my comment removed? This is just silly.

Yesterday a reader sent us a link to a music file containing the two offensive phrases, which can be found here. Hit the jump for the translation of the offending phrases.

The words are:

1- In the 18th second: "كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').

2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: "كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').

I'd be more understanding if it were because sony didn't want those exact words in the game. .. Talk of death and apocalypse is kinda negative in a game like little big planet :p

guys, trying to be philosophical (and logical) in this sense won't do any good. i'm a philosophy teacher and i know that trying to convince a religious type about logic never works.

yes because a game on a competing platform will magically lower LBP sales as PS3 owners will all go to their friends house to play GEOW 2.....right??

I'm talking about multiple systems owners...

Honestly, I know and you know that the majority of 360/PS3 owners, will pick Gears of War 2 instead of LBP, and I doubt they will care for LBP in several months.

 

Most 360/PS3 owners wanted to pick LBP before Gears, to try it for a few weeks.

the funny thing is most people will do funny stuff with the game and don’t care if stupid religious things are being said. The difference between us (the muslims) and most of you (the rest of the world) can talk shit all you want while we can't because we must respect all religions!

That is all...other wise I have no words for this.....I am not a muslim so I can't judge what these quotes make them feel or how they see it within their religion....so I will just wait longer for the game :)

 

Of course they do but do people fallow those roles? Most of the time people don’t and that’s why we se the things happening today
