I'm not trying to condone those actions, but that kind of stuff is only brought about because of how whiny certain people get when a PS3 game gets ported to 360. If nobody reacted like children about the rumor and ports, then no fanboys on the other side would anticipate tears and meltdowns from them. This all goes back to how poorly some PS3 owners took the FF XIII news and then the Tekken 6 rumors and then the announcement. It goes on today with how poorly a lot of those same people are taking this rumor. The 360 fans are babies for feeding the fire and laughing, but it isn't them starting the fire, it's the whiners.

Well yes... of course 360 has the horse power. Just doesn't have to disk space to play it at the same quality. And I think they would have to cut the online portion out. Followed by compression, and then 360 can probably get the game on 2 discs.

Im sorry but MGS4's visuals are beyond anything on the XBOX 360 or PS3 IMO, I actually think it has better visuals than Uncharted.

Microsoft doesnt know what they are boasting about, they didnt make the game, kojima did, and he said a port is impossible.

No he didn't. If you're taking his comments from August of 2008, when he was sick of getting bombarded with multiplat questions, his exact words were "probably not possible".

I'm not getting into specifics with you over this. We're not going to have a huge he said she said war. All I'm going to tell you is that only the nice threads get to stay open. If you want the real meltdowns, you may want to look in the locked topics. I know that's where I always put the funniest ones, no matter what the console persuasion.

Like I said though, I'm not condoning the behavior of the people that want to see "the meltdowns and bitter tears of PS3 fans". If they break the rules gloating, they'll get warned and banned just like everybody else.

Let's get back on topic from here on out. I don't want to derail this thread.

So heres the thing MGS4 can be done on any 3D system. The differance is all in the quality. Sure they could make a port to the PSone, and it would still be a great game. They could release it for 14.99, and it would be the cheapest way to get the game. Making it for the 360 is the same thing. They can make it for the 360, and I would have no problem with it. I have already played the best version of MGS4 that is possible, unless they re-release it on the PS3 later this gen with enhanced visuals. Like megaman2 said yesterday, go ahead and make the game for the 360. My only question, why would anyone want to buy the 360 version when the PS3 version is worlds better? With this in mind, why do people want a FFVII remake? We already have a low quality PSone version and a PS3 remake would be useless.

Mods need to start banning people trolling in the 360 forums, this is getting old. Posts like "Stop stealing games Microsoft!" or "BS!" etc.


Whats with the 360 hate for getting games like Tekken and Final Fantasy?

Multiplatform is the wave of the future. IT MAKES THE COMPANY MONEY! Going exclusive does not unless your obviously getting funded a lot of money from say, Microsoft or your game is first party like Mario, Socom, Halo etc.

I hope Metal Gear Solid 4 comes to the 360 just to prove my point.

Going multiplatform increases the company's bottom line!
Repeat that to yourself one hundred times.



It's just that simple.

Again that was the first that was created then  I am quite sure of it that benkenobbi was the first one;.The others then were created because some couldn't stand the post of some in the first thread like we have now 10's of MGS4 threads.
