OMG.................this is a killer!!!! dont forget each char in LAIR has roughly 50x more polygons and textures compared to each char in GEARS....(i am talking about the final version ofcourse)

Underwhelming, to be honest : The knight looks really impressive(look at the shinyness! wow!), but some of those just don't look as good as what I've seen on the PS3 so far. The PS3 is more than capable to handle less sloppy visuals. The rocks...oh the rocks. I also hope the in game movements look more fluid. They looked unnatural the last time I saw a video. If Gears of War and Resistance can do it, why not Lair???

what a shame..........u are comparing trash GEARS and RESISTANCE with LAIR............LAIR has wayyy better textures and more polygons per frame. LAIR IS ONLY POSSIBLE ON PS3. The production cost is 25 million and FACTOR 5 has over 150 devs working for LAIR some of the images are from TGS ...........some are from new builds............the scans were posted a month ago on a german magazine #18 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know they do look great but I can care less about game specs, lately I've been playing that Dragon Ball game on the Wii, it looks terrible, and yet I'm addicted to it I love it. And I'm not at all tempted by Lair even if it was coming out on the Wii to be honest, I just don't like Factor 5's games, they look beautiful and play well yet I find missions get insanely long and very hard, and I get stuck before getting a quarter of the way through. Rebel Strike was like that it really blew my mind for GC visuals yet I got stuck and never played it again, and didn't bother with Rebel Strike 2. It's funny but limited game saving oppurtunities, difficulty, and not including cheat codes can really kill a game.

look again at the monster battle scene..........look at the damn water man............look at the behemoth gothlike creatures. the water alone has 100x more polygons/textures than the whole of GEARS/RESISTANCE. clealrly this would get a perfect 10 even on GS. again dont forget LAIR is only possible on ps3. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/733/733921p1.html



If I just had a penny for every polygon in Lair, I'd actually give a crap. Seriously washimul, once were looking at pictures of the game no one cares how many polygons were used to make the water. Gears Of War looks amazing, so does Lair, beyond that no one really cares about polygon counts. They actually talk about gameplay, try that some time, I have yet to hear you mention gameplay on any game for that matter. At this rate you might as well stare at real life objects they have even more polygons!



Polygon wise it is impressive, but texture wise.... well, let's just say MS made a damn wise choice by putting in extra RAM into the 360

ok man stop being so fanboyish!! geez! yes this game looks pretty good. I find it funny that most of the Wii fans here diss it when their system can never handle this. Anyway chill out or no1 will take you seriously.

there is no extra ram in x360 x360 has 512mb of unified inferior and cheap GDDR3 running at 700mhz ps3 has 256mb of GDDR3 + 256mb of expensive and fast XDR (running at 3.2ghz). RSX can access the full 512mb when needed. but comparisons cannot be made since you are talking about high spped ultra latent XDR
