Well, I'm guessing you can notice something special about the 4th of November. And I don't mean that it's three days before GeoW2. Although that might affect things.

I am, of course, talking about the US Elections. I don't think this will affect the sales at all, but what about you?

On a slightly touchier subject, what do you think each of the candidates would do for gaming sales?

I know Hillary would have unpopularised it, but she's gone.

Obama seems like a young, tech-friendly person. I think he'd drive sales up, I'd imagine him gaming a lot more than McCain.

McCain, on the other hand, who knows what he'd do?

Personally, I don't think Obama has enough time to game.

But he's my candidate of choice.

I don't think any candidate would affect sales at all. Afterall, we've seen some of the biggest years money-wise for the gaming industry ever, and G.W. is president..the only game I can see him playing is Donkey Kong or Hail To The Chimp.....and sadly enough, he'd probably look like a retarded kid at a theme park playing either game.

I think McCain being on the ballot will help the sales of R2. After all every time I see that video of him singing Bomb Bomb Iran or talking about how we need to stay in Iraq for hundreds of years I immediately jump to thinking of the R2 scenario of a United States consumed by apocalyptic war.

Thank god he's polling at 40%. I wasn't THAT worried about McCain until he put Palin on the ticket. I could picture a McCain presidency; I would grumble and be unhappy but life would go on...but Jesus Christ (no pun intended) a Palin presidency? The horror.....the horror.......
