Sardauk,
yes, sure.
it is always better to back up on WW total sales than weekly sales
particularly when
weekly sales are the main subject of this thread
AND
weekly sales show the xbox360 price cut effect is limited
Time to Work !

True, but that is the reality. And again, this is unrealistic to analyse a price cut effect on such short period.
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

In the European PAL dimension. See Fifa 09 PS3 vs Fifa 09 360 numbers.

And that is it ?
On this continent, Sony is pending most of his marketing money at soccer event. I hope for them it is worth it.
Anyhow I don't ""feel"" that this will stop the erosion of japanese exclusivities they are also facing.
But I deviate from the topic is the thread.

I'll read it - when the article will actually be there.
its a battle between a 179.99euro console and a 449.99euro console. I dont blame sony for not cutting the price.

Sardauk,
I agree with you. Let's wait.
I still expect a Xbox360 rebirth for this xmas since the arcade is really cheap.
About the lost of exclusivity, it is true but it is hold as, evne the Valve haters are considering a port of L4D ...

Did he mention playing off SE for games? or Namco for Tales of Vesperia? and probably Tekken? there is a certain shift. But everyone who shifts, also releases his games on the PS3. (Namely, and most importantly, Sega and Capcom).
I expected a Japanese analyst to talk about all of that. And not an M$ one talking in generalisations and trying to market his console.
To be equal to last week sales WW, 360 sales in NA should be 95~100K.
It's gonna be hard. I'd say 70~75K, and 55K for PS3.
They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts
