so price cut effects already gone,,,,I expected it to last one more week in others.

Really? Personally I'd expect a longer effect in USA, but I'm almost surprised it lasted so long in Japan and Others: although this fading is a bad omen for XB360, sales rise lasted more than I expected WW, spreading dates along more than one week had some effect.

""Say it'll outsell Xbox 360 by 100k every month from now onward.""

==> hahaha, 100k/month hahha

I would say 50k/week (on average)

... early 2010 if price drop to 300$ in 2009

Remember at the begining of the year? People said it would take 7 years to catch up... now it's four... but it hasn't been 3 years... I wonder how that happened. /rolls eyes.

Speculation over incomplete figures = fuel for Sony fanboys.

Anyhow, this won't help sony to catch up the huge remaining gap.

I'm still convinced that people buy the PS3 as a blueray players, not as a gaming plateform.

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

I'm still convinced that you have a time machine and refuse to share it with the world.

As for Sony catching up on their gap, they sure as hell can. After all, their price cuts stimulate demand in places other than NA. They don't give random spikes and die out.

Look buddies, every time the situation of sony is less then miserable, you guys are opening champagne.

You people are speculating about incomplete figures...pfff

Here in Europe, the marketing communication about the price cut is one week old.

I can hardly believe that the effect of the price cut can be mesured on the entire market.

1/ we are talking about PAL chartz and PAL chartz is complete. 2/ the PAL gap is collasping as very soon the PS3 will be head like it is in europe alone 3/ since most multiplateform games sell better on PS3 that on Xbox360 taking in count the different userbase it is easy to see PS3 owners buy games.

1) How do you manage to talk to me from early 2007? I demand info on the location of your time machine!

2) Damage control, damage control, damage control again.

Games sell better on the PS3... you are right... but in wich dimension exactly ?

Sorry to walk on your parade guys, but all I see is still a huge gap in the total figures.

In the European PAL dimension. See Fifa 09 PS3 vs Fifa 09 360 numbers.
