wii - 45 mil
360 - 28 mil
ps3 - 29 mil

there are some variables that im counting on for a huge ps3 boost (ie price cut/ slim model) but if i take those out then i would say ps3 @ 25 mil

Why not make a thread for betting on software? Hardware is pretty much given, just add or leave a few million.

BTW, I use holiday season as last 3 months of the year.

Prediction 1:

A) Superr Mario Galaxy will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl this holiday season. Mark my words (although I said this for last half of 08 too, and that's not happening). Both will end at above 8.5M by the end of January 2009.

B) One of them will be ahead of Halo 3, and the other one behind.

Prediction 2:

A) Mario Kart Wii will outsell Wii Fit for the last 2 months of the year (November and December).

B) By the end of January, Wii Fit will be above 13M. Mario Kart Wii will be 12M or more.

C) They will both beat GTA IV combined.

(but that's end of 08, if it's end of Jan of 09 then just throw on 1 million for each, I'm sure it'll be close)

Wow, people are lowballing the estimates on the Wii sales really badly. It's at 33 mil now, for it to end up at only 41mil means 8 million between now and the end of January. Last year it managed 8.3 million during this time (while heavily supply constrained), and this year Nintendo is shipping a ton more. People are either not paying attention to the numbers, or assuming the Wii is a fad.
