Trust me.  This title is both hardcore and casually brilliant simultaneously.

The game actually looks pretty good and ill be picking it up when i can -- its exams first - then bioshock - then LBP - then Eternal Sonata - then Resistance 2 - Then Saints Row 2 - then possibly Dead Space...

thats like 6 games in 2 months for PS3... which ignores Wotlk for PC + a Wii (+ 3 or 4 games) + possibly a DS or PSP game...

Its going to be an expansive Christmas (but i guess someone needs to pump money into the economy! I wish i got tax breaks for this though :/ )

well im happy for u that u liked the orig, i thought it to be ok also, and no doubt sequel is better, but the city didnt seem alive to me kinda barren looking.

but another thing i didnt like was the main char model, he walked like a sacck of spuds. im just going to gamaetailers to check some gameplay movies

I'll probably buy it with Bioshock, do you think you need to know the story of the 1st one to play the 2nd one?

GTA4 was pretty overrated imo.

Not really, though if you can find the first one cheap it is worth playing in it's own right.

At the end of the last game the main character had just reached the top of the gang world with his gang (the 3rd St Saints) dominating Stillwater.  However, corrupt cops killed a couple of his best friends, and he ended up on a boat.  It was a set-up, and the boat exploded.  As far as we know, your character died....though I doubt that is the case.

GTAIV is the best one. You're all crazy people.

I think I'll be too busy with LBP to bother with Saints Row 2... or anything else in life for a while.

I don't think i will get this game either, possibly rent if for a bit to see what its like.

Got too many games to be played as it is, with Bioshock, LBP, Resistance 2, etc etc it's going to be a busy and expensive christmas!
