Forums - Sales Discussion - Nov. 18, Helloooooooooooo Netflix

still don't see what you guys are waiting for, or even agueing about for that matter, because i can't see a single reason to proclaim and defend the PS3'S superiority over the 360.

When the new update rolls out in about a month, Live members, who also have a Netflix account, are gonna have well over 10,000 movies and t.v. shows to sift through and play instantly, for free. Let me repeat that, OVER 10,000.

So.... far better game library overall. (that of course is subjective, but Metacritic sure goes along way in proving it)

Online service that is simply untouchable.

Partnership with Netflix, which other than the Wii's gameplay innovations, is the simply THE BEST move made by any of them this generation. Think about it, it's crazy; along with all the games already out there, and those coming, your going to have a movie library that rivals allot of small video stores... for nothing more than what Netflix already costs.

Upcoming releases that that will even further distance themselves from Sony, again, subjective... but outside of LBP, Sony really can't touch what MS is getting ready to drop. Gears, Fable, Left 4 Dead, Star Ocean.. and a few other JRPG's, exlcusive downloadable content for GTA and Fallout, Live versions of gameshow's on the Marketplace like 1 vs. 100, Portal for the Arcade... man, it just keeps going.

The PS3 is an awesome machine, but for whoever doesn't have a 360 and is stubbornly standing by Sony, for whatever illogical reason, your only stealing from yourself.

So your basically saying the 360 is the best, the ps3 is ok, and the psn sucks, if you dont have a 360 your a retard, and that the wii is only innovative, but netflix=best thing to happen this gen.

sure

I was always wondering why Netflix movies won't play on Firefox. MSFT must've paid them handsomely for that.

that's funny..... kinda figures too..... how about, why is he allowed to come in here and post things that bother sony fanboys, or, why was his permaban overturned-we have to keep the truth covered up, or, why does he have to write things that make me mad..... basically, my ban was overturned because i sent the mods an e-mail showing how biased and unfair the ban was in the first place. The post that got me in hot water to begin with was a pretty straight-forward dig on Sony fanboys, whoever it was that banned me, was obviously one himself and was irritated by the things i said. Thankfully, whoever his boss was, saw the hypocrytical nature of the ban and reversed it. Can't get mad at someone because they disagree with you, or point out faults in your arguements, or for that matter, gleefully remind you when your wrong. That's what free speech is all about. Now, i'm not trying to incite a flamewar with the opening post, I just really don't understand where the PS3 fanboys are coming from when they trounce the 360, it's got a whole lot more to offer in my opinion, so i'm just trying to understand the thought process behind anyone who's completely dependant on only one console. I just don't get it, it's confusing. If you're a true gamer, why limit yourself, bash the competition, make stuff up to support an irrational allegience to only 1 company.... really, how does any of that make sense? go ahead, explain.

Is Netflix gonna be Europe too, just wondering?

I dunno why this is such a big deal.

I have been doing netflix on my 360 and PS3 for months now.

Gotta love the Windows Media Center PC and also PlayON.

how much is the subscription for netflix?

so you pay a monthly subsciption to stream(provising you have a fast connection) sd quality movies? sounds good

netflix isnt free you subscribe to it.

netflix has over 100k dvd movies that they post out to you, but they have entered a new set top box arena where they have around 6000k dvd quality movies for you to stream.
